Final Round Up
Wimbles if finished and we have our winners – Sara & Julie winning the ladies competition (on set against Chris loses out), James & Eamon taking the men’s title. Congrats to all who took part & special congrats to our winners.
Day 11
Our men’s competition has become a 4 horse race – a win for Nadal sees Davis & Sara take the spoils, a win for Djokovic will mean James & Eamon come first and second respectively.
Day 10
All square at the top of the ladies competition now, but Sara cant add to her tally as Azarenka got dumped out. A win for Sharapova will see Julie & Chris win the day, a win for Kvitiva will see Sara take the ladies title on sets won.

Day 9
Day 9 and it was time for a taxi for a certain Swiss Superstar. That surprisingly hasn’t altered the vista dramatically, as many entrants had plumped for a Federer / Tsonga combo. Davis is now the clear favourite, with a points lead and Nadal & Tsonga in play.
Day 8
And then there were 4, only 3 of which were in the top 32 (Azarenka Sharapova Kvitova) while Kvitova wasn’t picked by any team, so it has become a straight fight between Azarenka & Sharapova to decide who wins the ladies event. Sara has her hopes penned on Azarenka while success for Sharapova would see Julie Fahy winning & Chris Lewis coming second (decided on sets against)
Day 7
Magic Monday it surely was – but not if you name is Williams. While the top 4 ladies are all now out, the top 4 men are all very much in contention. The ladies competition looks like a race for second as Sara has a clear lead and is the only player with 2 players left in. The men’s on the other hand is wide open – and is very likely to come down to Sundays showdown
Day 5 & 6
Moving days for Sachio & Sam – who are officially out of the ladies competition having lost all their players in the first week. Leigh & Davis have kicked clear in the men’s competition thanks in part to an inspired choice of Llodra in group 4.
Day 4
Li Na went from hero to zero and wiped out the hopes of many entrants today. Lorna Smith & Julie Fahy dodged the Li Na bullet and stay very much in contention. Coach Prior continues to emerge as a contender in the men’s event.
Day 3
The carnage in men’s group 4 continues, 6 of the 8 gone and the other 2 haven’t played their second round yet. While Sara A continues to lead the way, James, Leigh, Davis & Christine appear to be strongly positioned in the men’s competition with all players in play, the latter 2 looking particularly strong. The ladies is a mixed bag with 1 or 2 players losing across all 4 groups.
Day 2
Sara A continues to set the pace with all 8 players in both men’s & ladies competitions through to the next round. David P is the only player yet to score “cheese eating surrender monkeys” come to mind given the team name. In the men’s comp group 4 was a minefield with Cilic taking many teams down
Day 1
Some early form from Sara with a 1st & 2nd place in the respective competitions after day 1. Disappointment for Christine, Sachio, Halford & Robert who all selected a no show in their teams (Clijsters, Kleybanova or Querrey). While our chairman is having a particularly slow start in the men’s comp.
