Colchester & District Friendly Tennis League are now taking applications for this years individual tournaments. Closing date for applications is Saturday the 30th of May – as a club we would really encourage you to participate and support these competitions.

About the Friendly League

“The Colchester and District Friendly Tennis League … exists to give players of a moderate standard a chance of competitive play. Hence, it is intended specifically for older or less experienced players, or for those who simply wish to enjoy less intensive competitive tennis.”

Caveat: The Friendly League Competition is not open to those who regularly play in the Premier or First Divisions

May Day saw the first of the Clubs Annual American Tournaments. Another beautiful sunny day saw a large turnout with 24 members participating and many more in attendance to support.

Congrats to Julie & Peter who won the day beating Caroline & Rob in the final. A big thanks to Robert for organising on the day. Some photos below
